Wills & Lasting Powers of Attorney
Our fixed fees for simple Wills are as follows:
- Simple Will from £250 plus VAT
- Simple Wills for a couple from £425 plus VAT where the Wills are mirrored.
If your Will instructions are more complex, such as the incorporation of a Trust, or you require detailed Inheritance Tax planning, we will advise you of any additional fees in our initial meeting. We will either agree an increased fixed fee or, in the most complicated matters, we will charge on the basis of the time spent by Solicitors and legal staff at their normal hourly rate.
Our fixed fees for Lasting Powers of Attorney are as follows:
- Lasting Power of Attorney – Property and Financial Affairs – £400 plus VAT
- Lasting Power of Attorney – Health and Welfare – £400 plus VAT
- Lasting Powers of Attorney – Both types – £600 plus VAT
- Lasting Powers of Attorney – Both types for a Couple – £800 plus VAT
Each Lasting Power of Attorney will be subject to an application fee payable to the Office of the Public Guardian of £82. Depending on your income or entitlement to certain benefits, this fee may be reduced.
